Message from the President

Hello DMI members! I cannot believe we are so close to the 2017 DMI Annual Dinner scheduled for Monday, October 30th from 5-8:30pm at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. For detailed information and to register, click here.

We have a terrific speaker this year. His name is Calvin Gladney and he has a lot to share with us about public/private partnerships, sustainability, equity, transportation-the elements that are vital to thriving urban areas in the future. You can read more about him here.

It will be bittersweet for me because this is my last annual dinner as the President of DMI. Next year I will have to purchase a ticket to the annual dinner and I will not have the opportunity to use the microphone to move everyone into the dining room during the cocktail time! I very much look forward to seeing all of you and to be able to thank so many people who have made my last 19 years the best! See you all on October 30th.

Susan Schmitz,
DMI President
