Happy New Year DMI Members! We are looking forward to another great year of working with all of you to make downtown Madison the best downtown it can be! And to start off the year, we would like to welcome our newest DMI Member: Kimley-Horn and Associates!
Also new for 2012, we are excited to announce the launch of the DMI New Member Coffee series, sponsored by von Briesen & Roper, s.c. This quarterly gathering is catered to new DMI members, offering them the opportunity to meet with Board and Committee members and to learn more about the inner workings of DMI. | New Faces, New Places
Please join us for the next DMI New Faces, New Places taking place on Thursday, January 12th from 5-7pm at the offices of Nelson Schmidt located at 301 S. Blount St., Suite 103. | What's Up Downtown?
The next DMI What's Up downtown? breakfast is taking place on Thursday, January 26th from 7:45-9am at The Madison Club, 5 East Wilson St. Our monthly speakers will be the Judge Doyle Square Project Team who will be presenting the preliminary draft alternative and recommendations for the Judge Doyle Square Master Plan. Complimentary assorted juices, coffee, rolls and fruit will be served. The monthly host will be Kimley-Horn and Associates.

| 2012 Frostiball
Join us on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 from 9:00pm-1:00am at the Overture Center for the Arts, 201 State Street, for downtown Madison’s most glamorous winter gala, the 26th Annual Frostiball: A City of Lights!
Back by popular demand, the Michael Walters Orchestra will entertain guests throughout the evening. The jazz sounds of The Doug Brown Trio and special performances by Fred Astaire Dance Studio will also light up the night. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, desserts, champagne, wine, beer, soda and coffee drinks also included! The Honorary Hosts for the 2012 Frostiball are UW-Madison Chancellor David and Judith Ward!
