| New Faces, New Places
Please join us for the next DMI New Faces, New Places taking place on Thursday, December 8th from 5-7pm, hosted by US Bank and L'Etoile at the US Bank Plaza located at 1 S. Pinckney St. Come celebrate warm holiday greetings and sample outstanding appetizers from Graze and wonderful craft brews by Ale Asylum. | What's Up Downtown?
The next DMI What's Up downtown? breakfast is taking place on Thursday, December 15th from 7:45-9am at The Madison Club, 5 East Wilson St. Our monthly speakers will be Steve Cover, Director, and Bill Fruhling, Principal Planner of the City of Madison Department of Planning and Community and Economic Development who will be presenting the latest draft of the City of Madison Downtown Plan. Complimentary assorted juices, coffee, rolls and fruit will be served. The monthly host will be Thompson Investment Management Inc.

| 2012 Frostiball
Save the date for the 26th annual Frostiball, taking place on Saturday, February 4th from 9:00pm-1:00am at the Overture Center for the Arts. The night will include great entertainment and an assortment of complimentary hors d'oeuvres, desserts, champagne, wine, beer, soda and coffee drinks. More details coming soon! | 2011 DMI Annual Dinner
On Wednesday, November 9 close to 500 DMI members, friends and downtown stakeholders gathered in celebration of the 2011 DMI Annual Dinner. Attendees enjoyed a great evening of networking and dinner as well as a keynote presentation by Holly Wiedemann, founding principal and President of AU Associates, Inc.
The dinner also served as the venue to present the 16th annual Community Asset Awards. The 2011 Award recipients included four downtown Madison churches: Bethel Lutheran Church, First United Methodist Church, Grace Episcopal Church and St. John’s Lutheran Church. The award was also presented to Trek Bicycle Corporation and to Saris Cycling Group. | Madison's Central BID News
Make sure to come downtown this holiday season! Madison’s Central BID has organized many activities including a free holiday trolley running on State Street and the Capitol Square on Saturdays, December 3, 10 and 17 from noon to 4pm. Those same days, volunteer caroling groups will stroll State Street and the Capitol Square, performing for shoppers and downtown visitors. The BID also manages the Downtown Madison Gift Certificate program. Downtown Madison Gift Certificates make great holiday gifts for friends, family, customers, clients and employees and are accepted at more than 170 shops, restaurants, museums, cafes, bars and other establishments downtown. Certificates can be purchased at the Overture Center Ticket Office (201 State St.), University Book Store (711 State St.) or online at visitdowntownmadison.com.
